This saxophone stand is exactly what I need. I purchased it because of its ability to include a soprano stand, and it works great! It folds up nicely and is very sturdy. The price is reasonable, too. Good buy for me.

My Yamaha alto sax with a one-piece key guard did not sit securely in my old Hamilton stand, my old LaVoz alto sax stand or even my new K&M alto/tenor stand. None of these could be adjusted so that they did not hit the key guard or the low C# key on my Yamaha. I took a chance on this Hercules stand without trying it first (lack of woodwind music shops out here). The Hercules has a slidable lower rest instead of only being adjustable in fixed steps. This allowed me to adjust it to fit right between the tone hole and the key guard, touching only the horn's body at the bell to bow junction. It's a close fit so I'll have to be careful to not bang the key out of alignment when placing my horn in the stand but at least it fits. Your only other option may be to buy one of those Yamaha specific stands for your horn. This stand is sturdy and well built as well.

This is a very well-designed stand, and perfectly suits the needs of an alto/soprano player. It should also work great for soprano/tenor, as the bow rest is adjustable for height.

The stand's sturdiness and fold-ability make it a pleasure to both use and carry, and you can mount the peg on ether side of your curved sax, or add a second peg. Plus, it's priced right.

The stand does, however, have one small--but fixable--flaw. The bell rest on the soprano peg is adjustable so that you can get a nice fit, with the padded ball gently in the body of the sax, while the bell rests on the lower support. However, the support is locked in place by a friction cam lock, which is not tight enough. As a result, the bell support keeps dropping until the entire weight of the sax is born on the padded ball within the body. Not good.

The fix is simply to decide where you want to lock the cam, and then apply a narrow length of tape (I used vinyl electrical tape)around the peg shaft at that spot. This effectively takes up the excess clearance and locks the adjustment in. No more slipping--even with my very heavy Selmer S80 S3.

When looking for a case for my Sony Ericsson W760a, I first bought the cheaper "rubber feel" model that you'll see in your searches. It was less than $5 at the time, AND it was listing as being a Sony Ericsson product. Hmmmmm..... cheaper AND and made by Sony Ericsson specifically for this phone. I purchased it and to my horror, it was an extremely cheap piece of plastic with a generic clear plastic belt clip. Oh, and it wasn't made by Sony Ericsson either. I wanted to give the seller a bad feedback for the false advertising, but I noticed that for some reason shortly after I purchased mine, they started re-listing it as what it was.

So, naturally after a couple of months, that case started to just fall apart. First, the screw holding in the belt clip swivel started to come loose, which created the risk of the phone detaching from the the belt clip and being dropped. Then the spring action locking mechanism for attaching/detaching from the belt clip just broke one day. So, I found my $8 (with shipping costs) completely wasted. The only other one I saw with a belt clip was this Body Glove model. So, having no choice, I purchased it, though I didn't like the fact that it cost three times as much.

I purchased mine through CCMACCESSORIES, and within the hour of purchase, they sent me a "shipped" notification. Nice. THEN, I ended up receiving it in less than 48 hours only paying for standard shipping. Very nice. I'm sure this depends on where you live in relation to CCM, but the fact that they put in the mail as soon as humanly possible speaks volumes. But about the case:

The case is really cool. I can tell that it's much more durable (with no screws to come loose because they don't have LockTight on them)and the material on the outside feels like a new baseball batter's glove, making it very unlikely that it'll ever slip out of your hand. But on top of that, very stylish. All in all, a fantastic product.

This one is definitely a case of "getting what you pay for." But unfortunately, with the cheap cases, you actually get nothing.

I've had this product for about a month so far and it's been great. It fits the phone wonderfully. Maybe a little bit too wonderfully. I can't get the thing off! Needless to say, it fits very snugly and I have had no problems with it slipping or budging around. I guess I really only have three complaints:

1) I can't get the cover off when I want to access my battery or SIM card. Every time I try to pry it off I feel like I'm going to break the phone.
2) I love that this cover included a screen cover, however, the cover itself has already become quite scratched, I guess just from traveling around in my purse.
3) There is a post on the back that is made for a swivel clip which I neglected to attempt to remove before putting the cover on, and since I can't get the cover off I can't take another shot at getting it off. I don't like having this post there because it makes the cover less streamlined, sleek and harder to fit in my pocket.

Overall though, this cover does a great job of what it was intended to do...cover the phone!
